Jay Levine quoted in Event Driven article about U.S. House hearing on Aetna/CVS
Porter Wright partner Jay Levine, co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Consumer Protection Practice Group, was interviewed for the article "Upcoming U.S. House hearing to focus on steering, foreclosure issues" which discusses the "steering, foreclosure and high prescription drug price" issues that likely will be the focus of an upcoming U.S. House hearing on the Aetna/CVS deal.
From Event Driven, Shrey Verma and Ryan Lynch reporting:
"The DOJ will look closely at the deal’s effect on pharmaceutical prices and the potential for the merged companies to steer business, said Jay Levine, a partner at Porter Wright. 'Steering is a legitimate concern in places where Aetna dominates,' said Levine. 'Whether they will have the ability to profitably steer is a factual question.'"
