Ellen Freeman takes on Pittsburgh pastry chef’s immigration case
In a case now receiving regional attention, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette interviewed Ellen Freeman, partner-in-charge of Porter Wright’s Pittsburgh office, for the article, “Visa rejection puts immigration status of Gaby et Jules pastry chef in jeopardy in Pittsburgh,” which discusses the current immigration challenge of Pittsburgh French pastry chef, David Piquard. His application for an immigrant visa has been rejected by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Ellen is working to extend his temporary visa so he and his family may stay here, and he can continue to work.
