Porter Wright is proud to announce Ronald L. Hicks, Jr., has joined the firm as a partner in the Pittsburgh office. Ron focuses his practice on complex and commercial litigation, election and political campaign law, and outside general counsel services for LGBTQ business owners and other clients.

For more than 32 years, he has represented clients in a variety of disputes, including misappropriation of trade secrets and intellectual property, breach of restrictive covenants and unfair competition, estate and fiduciary liability, breach of contract, insurance coverage, and real estate and oil and gas title disputes.

Ron’s robust litigation practice includes extensive experience in election and political campaign law where he represents local, state and federal Republican candidates and political committees in Pennsylvania.  As outside general counsel, Ron represents LGBTQ business owners and other clients across numerous industries, advising them on general corporate matters and business transactions.
