Overview
Lauren is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Her practice spans trademark prosecution and enforcement, intellectual property transactions and technology-related legal matters. She manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, prosecutes U.S. trademark applications, and handles proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also investigates suspected infringements and drafts demand letters and takedown notices.
Lauren advises on intellectual property and trade secret litigation and assists with IP aspects of commercial transactions, including due diligence, contract review, and drafting license agreements. She counsels clients on technology transactions such as SaaS agreements, master service agreements and website terms of use. Her practice also includes advising on data compliance, artificial intelligence and promotional matters such as sweepstakes, giveaways and contests.
Lauren has worked on pro bono cases with Tahirih Justice Center, serving as co-counsel on immigration matters. During law school, she was managing editor of the Environmental Law Journal and president of the Intellectual Property and Privacy Law Association.
