Overview

Kyle is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department where he concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and environmental law.

Kyle's litigation work includes representing clients in high-value contract disputes and negligence actions involving catastrophic injury, along with advising regional public utilities in eminent domain matters. He has served clients during all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation demands, preparation of motions and pleadings, discovery, mediation and settlement, hearings and appeals. On the environmental side, Kyle assists clients with environmental due diligence and CERCLA matters.

Kyle also serves on the firm’s pro bono team that provides support to individuals seeking to change their name or gender-identifying marker.

Before joining Porter Wright as an associate, Kyle clerked with the firm and completed legal externships with the Ohio Environmental Council and the Legal Aid Society of Columbus. During law school, Kyle was an editor of the Ohio State Business Law Journal, served as a peer advisor for incoming law students, and was a Moritz Ambassador for prospective students.
