Kristen focuses her practice in health care as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. She assists clients in the health care industry with supply chain document negotiation, including purchase, trial, consulting and nondisclosure agreements. She also advises clients on physician employee agreements. Kristen frequently reviews and negotiates business associate agreements for HIPAA compliance. She is experienced in negotiating information technology and information security-related agreements, including software purchase and licensing agreements.
While in law school, Kristen was a staff editor on the Ohio State Business Law Journal. She served as the community service chair of the Black Law Student Association and was a senator on the Student Bar Association, where she worked as a liaison between the SBA and the Ohio Union Activities Board. She spent her summers at Porter Wright, working as a summer associate in the Columbus office.
