Overview
Kirsten specializes in serving business clients, practicing at the crossroads of litigation and business law. In commercial litigation matters, she has represented a wide variety of industries including healthcare, retail, insurance, telecommunications, oil and gas, and financial services. Her experience includes representing clients in cases involving complex commercial litigation claims, business competition claims, government contracts law, civil RICO claims, regulatory proceedings before the FCC and Congress, and other general commercial litigation claims. Kirsten has also successfully negotiated resolutions to business disputes in advance of litigation.
Kirsten is a skilled independent internal investigator. Kirsten has extensive experience in conducting investigations relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Additionally, Kirsten has conducted independent internal investigations relating to securities and corporate governance issues.
Prior to law school, Kirsten served as the senior aide to Franklin County Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy, and on Congresswoman Kilroy’s staff in the United States House of Representatives. She is a citizen of the United States and Germany.
