Overview

Kevin focuses his practice on securities, mergers & acquisitions, data privacy and security, and technology. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US) and holds CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications.

As a student with The Ohio State University Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic, Kevin supported tech startups on matters related to entity formation, protection of intellectual property, compliance with state and federal securities law, and drafting terms of service and privacy policies.

In law school, Kevin was elected to the Order of Barristers while competing on the Kaufman Memorial Securities Law Moot Court team. Kevin also served as an LL.M. legal writing fellow and as a managing editor for the Ohio State Business Law Journal.

Kevin served in the U.S. Army as an Arabic cryptologic linguist where he assisted in the identification and exploitation of threat communications and provided signals intelligence analysis while embedded with special operations personnel. Today, Kevin continues his service through involvement with the Grassbaugh Veteran's Project, assisting veterans with housing, consumer debt and default judgment issues.
