Katie focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, advising privately held companies, founders, investors, and strategic purchasers on a broad range of transactions. She plays a key role in transaction execution, including coordinating due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing closing processes, and addressing post-closing matters.

Katie also counsels clients on day-to-day corporate matters, including governance, equity ownership issues, corporate restructurings, and commercial agreements. In addition, she advises clients on a variety of securities law matters, including private offerings, equity financings, securities exemptions, and compliance with federal and state securities laws. She regularly assists with the preparation of offering documents, investor-related agreements, and other transactions involving the issuance and transfer of securities, providing practical, business-focused guidance tailored to each client's objectives.
