Jhay Spottswood-Harrison joins Porter Wright’s Litigation Department in Columbus
Porter Wright is excited to announce that Jhay Spottswood-Harrison has joined the firm as a senior associate in the Litigation Department. Jhay will focus her practice on intellectual property, business competition and e-discovery.
Before joining the firm, Jhay served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Sarah D. Morrison, Chief Judge, at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. In this role, she conducted in-depth legal research, assessed pleadings and assisted in drafting opinions. She also served as a Staff Attorney to Judge Andy Miller at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, where she managed and drafted decisions on complex legal issues including product liability, breach of contract, medical malpractice and employment discrimination.
Jhay earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, cum laude.
