Students, Social Media and Speech

Jyllian Bradshaw will be presenting "Students, social media and speech," at the 2021 Ohio School Boards Association's Leadership for Learning conference. She will lead an in-depth analysis of Mahanoy Area School District v. B.L., in which a Pennsylvania sophomore was removed from the junior varsity cheerleading squad after her vulgar Snapchat complaint about not making the varsity squad was brought to the attention of school officials. Jyllian's discussion will review the level of authority schools have over online speech.
