About special guest Raul Alvillar

Raul served in the Obama administration as the associate director of the White House's Office of Public Engagement and previously as a senior advisor to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, where he was HUD's primary liaison to national, state and local elected officials. As the first Hispanic National Political Director at the Democratic National Committee, Raul led the political strategy and managed the organization's relationships at all levels of government. In 2023 Raul served as a fellow, teaching at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Institute of Politics and Harvard Business School.
