Jon Fingeret joins Porter Wright’s corporate team in Pittsburgh
Porter Wright is proud to announce that attorney Jonathan Fingeret has joined the firm’s Pittsburgh office as a partner. Jon will serve clients in business transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, complex contract negotiations, capital raises, entity formations, management restructurings, and securities disclosure and compliance.
“It’s exciting to add Jon’s diverse corporate experience to our Pittsburgh team,” said Tim Gallagher, partner-in-charge of Porter Wright’s Pittsburgh office. “His service as an in-house corporate lawyer to a large, international company coupled with his broad transactional legal practice experience will serve our clients’ growing needs extremely well.”
Jon has represented and advised private and public companies and investors on a wide variety of matters for over 25 years. He currently acts as outside general counsel to several businesses, providing day-to-day advice and service on a range of legal issues. Prior to joining the firm, Jon served as senior vice president and general counsel of an international industrial services and raw materials trading company with operations across five continents. His experience also includes 15 years growing a multi-faceted corporate transactional practice with leading national and regional law firms and founding Fingeret General Counsel Services, where he provided business-focused legal services to start-ups, small businesses and business owners.
Jon received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
