Emily focuses her practice on technology as well as business growth and operation. As an associate, Emily has gained valuable experience identifying issues that may impede corporate growth and has worked with clients to quickly resolve them.
Emily often prepares and reviews corporate contracts, assists with due diligence of corporate documents, and helps prepare operating agreements for corporate entities. She also analyzes private equity fund agreements.
In relation to technology contracts, Emily helps prepare and review technology agreements, including software licensing agreements and terms-of-use and privacy policies.
Emily’s experience extends back to law school where she worked in Case Western’s Intellectual Property Venture Clinic. There she helped pro bono clients with business formation, business management, and trademark clearance issues. She also served as the Executive Symposium Editor as well as associate editor of the Case Western Reserve University Law Review.
Additionally, Emily served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Edmund A. Sargus, Jr. of the Southern District of Ohio.
