He has served various industries worldwide, served as in-house counsel based in Asia for a leading global manufacturer, served as a U.S. government advisor and been immersed in factories, ports and supply chains.

Known for his ability to translate his vast industry experience into actionable insights, Corey provides his clients with solutions that work.

Corey advises on U.S. export and import regulations, including the Bureau of Industry and Security’s Export Administration Regulations, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls’ International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations and Customs and Border Protection regulations. On import issues, he helps companies reduce duties and burdens through trade agreements, import preference programs and mitigating impacts of trade remedy programs.

Corey represents clients in evaluating transactions, obtaining government licenses, determining import duties, conducting and responding to internal and government investigations, preparing companies for and conducting M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration, developing compliance programs and strategies, and providing international trade guidance on numerous related issues, including corporate governance, commercial contracting and banking. He also has extensive experience in working with industry associations on common supply chain compliance and business challenges, including working with supportive and adversarial organizations that can affect operations.
