Caroline practices in the areas of commercial litigation, ERISA litigation and class action defense, and is Chair of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group. Following her graduation from Yale Law School in 1995, she served a two-year clerkship with Judge Walter Herbert Rice, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Commercial Litigation since 2013 and has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers® —Rising Stars Edition and Ohio Super Lawyers® from 2011 to 2016 in the area of Business Litigation. In 2011 she received the Lloyd O’Hara Public Interest Law Award from Advocates for Basic Legal Equality/Legal Aid of Western Ohio for her pro bono work in the area of voting rights. Caroline has served on several local non-profit boards and is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation.
