Overview

Abby is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of employee benefits and tax. She also has experience working with clients on data privacy and transactional matters.

More specifically, Abby’s employee benefits practice includes counseling on plan design, implementation and administration of qualified retirement programs, as well as preparing, amending and restating plan documents. Abby’s practice also includes advising to fiduciary compliance and representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service for a variety of issues. She is experienced in seeking favorable determination letters and entering correction programs.

Abby counsels clients in managing and planning for their tax obligations. Her tax practice includes working with clients on corporate, partnership and individual tax issues at both the federal and state level. At the state level, Abby has guided taxpayers through issues related to sales and use taxes, income taxes, nonresident taxation and property taxes. She additionally assists clients with transactional issues effecting corporations, taxation, corporate structure and employee benefits.

In the area of data privacy, Abby has assisted clients in responding to data security incidents, including advising as to requirements for response under HIPAA and state laws.
