Porter Wright is proud to congratulate four associates

Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP is proud to announce that associates Kirsten Fraser, Ryan Graham, Steven Hoying and Matt Navarre have passed the Ohio State Bar Exam.

The Ohio Bar exam is administered twice annually and regulates the practice of law in the state of Ohio. Of the more than 1,000 applicants in July, 80 percent received passing scores. Along with all who received a passing score and fulfilled the requirements set in place by the Ohio Supreme Court; Fraser, Graham, Hoying and Navarre were sworn into the Ohio Bar Association during a ceremony at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus, Ohio in November 2015.

Fraser is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department where she concentrates her practice on commercial litigation matters, representing a variety of industries including healthcare, telecommunications, oil and gas and financial services. She earned her law degree from The George Washington University Law School and her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.

Graham is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and focuses on complex commercial litigation, technology and data security. He joined the firm in the fall of 2015 after serving with the Cyber Division of the FBI since 2009. Graham received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from University of Mary Washington.

Hoying is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department where he concentrates his practice on banking and finance, and real estate issues. Prior to joining Porter Wright in the fall of 2015, he served as the chairman of the Edmund Burke Society at University of Chicago Law School. Hoying received his law degree from University of Chicago Law School, and his masters of education and undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.

Navarre is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, practicing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities, tax and employee benefits. In law school, he filed income tax returns for indigent and elderly taxpayers while working for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance clinic operated by the United Way. Navarre is a “Double Buckeye,” receiving both his undergraduate and law degrees from The Ohio State University.
