Porter Wright adds new attorney, further builds construction practice in Columbus

Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP is pleased to welcome Tom Nocar as a senior attorney in the firm’s Columbus office. With over 26 years of experience in construction management and real estate development, he offers a unique combination of skills; broad technical knowledge of the commercial construction industry and a practical approach to dispute avoidance and resolution.

“Tom’s industry experience and knowledge of the needs and demands for legal services of construction firms in the area will make him an essential member of the Construction Practice Group,” said Jim Curphey, chair of the firm’s Litigation Department.

Prior to joining Porter Wright, Nocar served as the Assistant General Counsel in the litigation department of one of the Midwest’s largest construction companies. He applies his extensive industry knowledge and attention to detail to prepare and advocate for his clients during all stages of litigation.

Nocar is a “Double Buckeye,” receiving his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, cum laude.
