Nathan concentrates his practice primarily on real estate-related purchase and sale transactions, title review and analysis and commercial leasing.
Nathan’s experience includes analyzing and drafting real estate purchase agreements, commercial lease agreements and closing-related documents. Nathan also has experience analyzing title commitments and surveys on behalf of purchasers, sellers and lenders, and preparing and responding to title objection letters. Additionally, Nathan’s practice includes reviewing banking and finance contracts for large corporate organizations, including publicly-traded financial services institutions.
Nathan is a licensed title insurance agent in Ohio and serves as the Treasurer of Queen City Title Agency, Inc., which services both commercial and residential real estate in the Cincinnati area. In his capacity with Queen City Title, Nathan handles title and survey issues, closings and escrows, and the preparation and analysis of title insurance commitments and policies.
In connection with the deployment of small cell wireless technology, Nathan prepares, analyzes and negotiates attachment and use agreements on behalf of wireless telecommunications carriers to obtain access to the facilities of municipalities and utility providers throughout the country.
Prior to joining Porter Wright, Nathan served as the student director of the Small Business & Community Economic Development Clinic at the George Washington University Law School, where he supported a tech-startup company and multiple non-profit corporations in various legal matters, including organizing legal entities, 501(c)(3) compliance and intellectual property protection. Nathan also served as a law student intern with the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. and a law clerk for the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, where he gained significant experience related to antitrust law and its application to the pharmaceutical industry.
