White Castle and Porter Wright Celebrate Decades of Working Together and the Restaurant's 90th Birthday
Attorneys from Porter Wright will unite with the White Castle team by rolling up their sleeves and working behind the counter in celebrating the 90th birthday of America’s first-fast food hamburger chain.
Building on a long standing tradition of teamwork between the organizations, Porter Wright attorneys will fulfill customers’ orders and grill some of White Castle’s made-to-order Original Sliders®. The team of five attorneys will work the lunch shift from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at White Castle #17 at Kenny and Henderson Roads in Columbus on August 10, 2011. They will be wearing White Castle 90th Birthday T-shirts during their shift.
“We are thrilled to have Porter Wright join us, serving our Cravers and preparing hot, fresh Original Sliders®,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle. “Our organizations have partnered together for nearly 80 years, and we're pleased to celebrate our 90th birthday with Porter Wright by our side. We always welcome our partners and community leaders to stop by and cook in our kitchen.”
Throughout 2011, home office staff and friends of White Castle will work side-by-side with team members in the restaurants. This will give them an opportunity to interact with White Castle Cravers, hear their comments and listen to their suggestions. White Castle is consistently looking to improve and expand its business. This is another opportunity for White Castle’s loyal legion of Cravers to give input about the brand they love.
White Castle #17 serves the chain’s famous fare 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The full menu also is available for online ordering at http://www.whitecastle.com/onlineordering.
In 2011, the family-owned chain is hosting special events and birthday celebrations to observe the 90th birthday as the company looks forward to another 90 years of creating even more extraordinary moments.
