Walter Reynolds Receives Distinguished Alumni Award From The University of Dayton School of Law

Walter Reynolds, Partner-in-Charge of Porter Wright's Dayton office, received the University of Dayton School of Law's Distinguished Alumni Award at the school's annual alumni weekend festivities. The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes graduates of the University of Dayton School of Law who reflect the school's longstanding values of professional integrity and community service.

"Walter's distinguished legal career, his tireless contributions to the community, and his loyalty to his law school alma mater made him the obvious choice for this year's award," said Lisa Kloppenberg, Dean of the University of Dayton School of Law. "When Walter came to the University of Dayton for his legal education, the law school was in just its second year of existence. More than 30 years later, we're glad Walter took a chance on our new endeavor and are proud to count him among our graduates."

For his part, Mr. Reynolds is honored by the recognition. "I'm pleased and humbled to be presented with this award. I credit the law school with launching my legal career, and it's my privilege to be able to give back not only to the school but to the profession and the community," he said.

Mr. Reynolds heads Porter Wright's Dayton office and maintains a busy practice related to banking and finance matters. In addition, he devotes considerable time to professional and civic endeavors. A past president of the Dayton Bar Association and member of the Ohio Supreme Court's Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline, Mr. Reynolds frequently speaks on law-related matters and serves a number of charitable organizations.
