Porter Wright Welcomes Five New Partners
Porter Wright recently welcomed five of its associate attorneys -- Bryan R. Faller, Rebecca Kucera Fischer, Joseph G. Foster, David M. Lewis, and Nicole J. Quathamer -- into the ranks of the firm's partnership. These new partners continue Porter Wright's more than 160-year tradition of client service and legal professionalism. Bryan Faller, an honors graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, represents clients in intellectual property and complex commercial litigation matters. He has handled cases involving business contracts, patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and unfair competition. Mr. Faller also has experience defending clients in white-collar criminal cases and routinely represents clients in matters involving claims and issues of federal and state constitutional law.
Rebecca Fischer's practice focuses on the representation of large financial institutions, as well as both secured and unsecured creditors, in all aspects of commercial bankruptcy cases and out-of-court debt restructuring. Her practice also includes commercial loan transactions and financing as well as commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditor's rights. Ms. Fischer attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Joe Foster concentrates his practice on complex commercial and creditors' rights litigation. He has handled cases in state and federal courts involving business contracts, class actions, securities, and antitrust allegations. He also has extensive experience representing financial institutions in foreclosures, loan restructuring, bankruptcy and receiverships. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Mr. Foster began his legal career as a commercial litigator in Cleveland, Ohio before relocating his practice to Naples, Florida.
David Lewis represents banks, insurance companies and financial institutions in the areas of real estate lending and commercial lending. His areas of concentration include construction and permanent real estate financing, securitized lending, secured letters of credit, and complex construction financing. Mr. Lewis has extensive experience representing financial institutions in tax credit financings throughout the country as well as in real estate loan workouts and restructurings. In addition, Mr. Lewis represents real estate clients in the acquisition and development of commercial and residential real estate projects. Mr. Lewis also attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Nicole Quathamer, a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, has experience prosecuting and defending a wide array of commercial matters for business entities ranging in size. Ms. Quathamer concentrates a substantial part of her practice on all areas of employment law, with an emphasis on employment litigation. Her employment defense experience has included representing clients against claims of all classes of discrimination. Ms. Quathamer also has significant experience within the insurance industry, representing clients in insurance coverage litigation. She has also tried numerous cases to juries and the bench in several different jurisdictions throughout Ohio.
