Porter Wright welcomes Bauer
Daniel M. Bauer has joined Porter Wright's Corporate Department as an associate in the firm's Columbus office.
Bauer focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance and corporate governance. He has represented both private and publicly traded companies in sophisticated M&A transactions as well as securities offerings and general corporate matters.
Before joining private practice in 2010, Bauer served as an investment banker and as an in-house attorney at a public company.
He received a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a B.S.B.A., summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. While in private practice, Bauer served as a teaching assistant at Cornell University Law School, as an advisory board member of the Chicago Comedy Film Festival and as a mentor to students at the Dodge Academy, a Chicago public school.
