Porter Wright Recognizes Three New Partners

Porter Wright recently welcomed three of its associate attorneys — Natalie H. Rauf, Ryan P. Sherman, and Charles W. Zepp — into the ranks of the firm’s partnership. These new partners continue Porter Wright’s more than 160-year tradition of client service and legal professionalism.

Natalie Rauf is an experienced commercial finance and corporate attorney who has represented a variety of businesses with an emphasis on financing and real estate law. Natalie works with financial institutions and borrowers in commercial lending, loan restructuring, and loan workout matters. Natalie also counsels business clients with various commercial transactions, such as the purchase and sale of assets, secured and unsecured lending, equipment leasing, joint ventures, and franchising. Additionally, Natalie has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers® – Rising Stars Edition.

Ryan Sherman concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on construction matters, intellectual property litigation, and securities and shareholder disputes. He has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and successfully represented clients in the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio and throughout numerous Ohio state courts, at both the trial and appellate court level. Ryan’s practice also involves representing clients in emergency injunctive proceedings. An active member of the community, Ryan serves on the Ohio State Bar Association's Council of Delegates and has served as a Mentor for the Ohio Supreme Court Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program, a contributor to the Pro Bono Tenants’ Advocacy Project and Collections Defense Project, and a member of Leadership Columbus. Additionally, he has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers® – Rising Stars Edition every year since 2009.

Charles Zepp’s areas of practice include litigation relating to commercial disputes, lender liability, toxic torts, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, class actions. He has successfully represented clients in Federal District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Third Circuit, and in numerous other state trial and appellate courts. Charles has had extensive involvement in pro bono projects through the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. He also has been actively involved with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's 3Rs program since its inception and has participated in the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio’s LeadDIVERSITY program and the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Bridge Builders program.
