Porter Wright Cleveland Attorneys Designated Ohio Rising Stars

Thirty-two Porter Wright attorneys working in 15 primary practice areas were recently designated Ohio Rising Stars by Ohio Super Lawyers® 2009, compiled by the publishers of Law & Politics and Cincinnati Magazine. Four of those attorneys reside in the firm's Cleveland office: Suzana Krstevski Koch, Rebecca Kucera Fischer, Natalie H. Rauf, and Tracey L. Turnbull.

Rising Stars are age 40 or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less, and represent the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state. Less than 2.5 percent of lawyers are selected for Rising Star status.

Suzana Krstevski Koch's primary practice area is Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. Ms. Koch engages in both transactional work and litigation to help secured creditor clients protect their rights and address the challenges and opportunities posed by bankruptcy and defaulted debts. Ms. Koch's experience extends across a range of industries including financial institutions, commercial and residential real estate, steel mills, paper companies, printing companies, light manufacturing, foundries and casting companies, drug stores, plastics companies, and general contractors.

Rebecca Kucera Fischer's primary practice area is Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. Ms. Fischer's practice focuses on the representation of various large financial institutions, as well as both secured and unsecured creditors, in all aspects of commercial bankruptcy cases and out-of-court debt restructuring. Her practice also includes commercial loan transactions and financing, as well as commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditor's rights.

Natalie H. Rauf's primary practice area is Banking. Ms. Rauf works with banks and financial institutions in commercial lending, loan restructuring and documentation matters. In addition, she works in the area of commercial real estate including representing clients in connection with purchases, sales, 1031 exchanges, leasing, sale-leaseback transactions, lot splits and consolidations, condominium declarations and land use. Ms. Rauf also practices in the area of general business and business contracts.

Tracey L. Turnbull's primary practice area is General Litigation. Ms. Turnbull has considerable experience in all phases of discovery and motion practice in a variety of complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts. She focuses her practice on the areas of commercial (including product liability claims) and employment litigation matters. From January 2000 to May 2001, Ms. Turnbull served as Adjunct Faculty for the Discovery and Motion Practice at the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law.
