PaRR Global quotes Levine in article about Actavis decision

PaRR Global has quoted Porter Wright partner Jay Levine in the article "Solvay, Par/Paddock appeal faces uphill fight in Actavis pay-for-delay case" published April 24, 2014. Defendants are attempting to "win a reversal of a trial court's denial of Noerr-Pennington immunity from antitrust liability."

From PaRR, Peter Geier reporting:
"... Jay Levine, an antitrust litigator at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, which is not involved in the case, called the consent judgment 'a nicety but not a necessity.' As such, Levine said, 'it would be form over substance to grant it Noerr immunity, especially in the face of recent decisions that have said that antitrust immunities are disfavored and should be construed narrowly.' ..."
