Marilyn Maag explores end-of-life issues in op-ed piece

Cincinnati Business Courier

The Cincinnati Business Courier published an article by attorney Marilyn Maag on end-of-life medical issues and Ohio’s proposed legislation authorizing Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment (MOLST). In "A way to start the toughest discussion," Maag wrote that MOLST is a valuable resource because it helps families and their loved ones engage in conversations about end-of-life care.

“If the proposed legislation passes in Ohio, it will add to, not replace, current tools available to us for planning our end-of-life medical treatment. Ohio’s existing laws and procedures with regard to the living will declaration and the power of attorney for health care will remain in place,” wrote Maag.
