Jason Dubner acts as editor of ABA Antitrust Committee Newsletter

Jason Dubner served as the editor of the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Compliance and Ethics Spotlight Spring 2015 newsletter. The Spring 2015 newsletter includes practical advice to help navigate ethical and compliance-related issues in your antitrust practice.

First, Jennifer Scott provides a comprehensive review of the Committee’s final program of 2014, the Spotlight on Antitrust Compliance in the Tech Sector.  Next, Jamie Manning Gathing compares the recent case involving the indictment of the Chief Compliance Officer of Moneygram International with a similar indictment in 2011 of a VP/Associate General Counsel at GlaxoSmithKline, raising the question as to whether we are likely to see an expansion of government cases seeking to hold lawyers personally responsible for failures of company compliance.  Also in this issue, Tara Emory tackles the question of whether a company’s corporate compliance program is privileged, with a review of the In re Domestic Drywall Antitrust Litigation opinion from October 2014.  Finally, the complicated question of assuring ethical witness preparation is explored in in-depth articles from experienced antitrust counsel Jonathan Faria, Jim Mutchnik, Adam Pascarella, Tammy Tsoumas and Douglas Tween.
