Global Climate Change Prompts New Corporate Disclosures

Global climate change poses a variety of challenges and opportunities for publicly-traded corporations that they may need to disclose to the public through filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The SEC currently has several disclosure rules that may already encompass how climate change affects a corporation.
