Firm Welcomes Partners Marilyn J. Maag, Timothy B. Mitchell, T. Stephen Phillips, and Henry E. (Ned) Seibert
Porter Wright is pleased to announce that its Corporate Department has expanded to include four additional partners who offer clients practical, creative advice in the areas of estate planning/wealth preservation, corporate and business law, tax, health care and real estate. Marilyn J. Maag, Timothy B. Mitchell, T. Stephen Phillips, and Henry E. (Ned) Seibert are the newest members of the firm's well-established practice.

Ms. Maag has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America®, included among the "Top 50 Woman Lawyers" by Ohio Super Lawyers®, and designated a "Leading Lawyer" by Cincy Business Magazine. In addition, Ms. Maag has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and is a member of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel. An active member of the Cincinnati community, Ms. Maag received her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati.
Mr. Mitchell, a veteran health care attorney, advises industry stakeholders on issues ranging from organizational and operational matters to peer-review matters to fraud and abuse matters, among many other topics. He routinely works with both for-profit and non-profit hospitals, physician groups, insurance companies, diversified health care systems, and managed care plans as well as surgery centers, home-health agencies, and ancillary service providers. His focus is on providing solutions that work from both a legal and business perspective no matter the issue involved. Mr. Mitchell, a graduate of Capital University Law School and The Ohio State University, is an active member of the profession, holding memberships in the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, and the Society of Ohio Healthcare Attorneys.
Mr. Phillips is also a member of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and has taught Federal Estate and Gift Taxation and Estate Planning at Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. A graduate of DePauw University, where he received his undergraduate degree, and Duke University, where he received his law degree, Mr. Phillips has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer® (2006-2007) and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® (2005-2007).
Mr. Seibert works with private and entrepreneurial businesses in many industries, offering business law and tax advice and helping those companies with succession planning. Likewise, he also provides advice to company principals regarding estate planning. In addition, Mr. Seibert works with real estate developers in the commercial, high-end residential, and hospitality and recreation markets. A frequent speaker and author on business law issues, Mr. Seibert received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Duke University.
