Porter Wright partner John Monica in the Washington, D.C. office was quoted in this article that details several university programs and education initiatives aimed at training a workforce skilled in nanotechnology.

“[W]e have been predicting this huge need for trained nanotechnology workers, but there is always the question of whether we are putting the cart before the horse. The idea is to create the mechanisms to fund the development of that workforce, which is very forward-thinking, but when you look at the economy and all the other issues that we have, is Congress going to be convinced to allocate money?”
