Bloomfield quoted in Daily Reporter article about new CLE rules

David Bloomfield, partner in Porter Wright's Litigation Department and immediate past president of the Columbus Bar Association, was quoted in the article, "New CLE rules confirm theory: Ohio attorneys can listen and eat food at the same time," posted at The Daily Reporter's website, thedailyreporteronline.com.

From The Daily Reporter, Tiffany Parks reporting:
“Although there are some [new] rule ... most of the rules recognize a change of philosophy regarding how to regulate attorneys’ CLE requirements,” Bloomfield said.

“In such a way, the new rules are designed to treat attorneys more professionally and consistent with the chief justice’s philosophy of increasing ‘efficiencies on how ... the Supreme Court regulate(s) the practice of law.’”
