Antitrust & E-Discovery Issues

SEP 26, 2014 (EDT)
Detroit, Michigan

Attorneys Molly Crabtree and Todd Tokuda presented at an antitrust and e-discovery seminar for Japanese owned businesses in Detroit in July. The seminar was sponsored by Japan Business Society of Detroit and Japan Auto Parts Industries Association. Interest was high among the 18 Japanese company representatives attending the seminar because U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) antitrust investigations have targeted some Japanese-owned businesses. Among topics covered by Crabtree was the importance of having a document retention policy. Tokuda reported on the current status of DOJ's antitrust investigation into Japanese auto parts manufacturers.
