Dayton Daily News mentions John Stephen in worker classification article
John Stephen, a partner in Porter Wright's Labor and Employment Department, was recently interviewed for a story by the Dayton Daily News titled, "Workers suing employers at record high." The piece speaks to the recent influx of lawsuits in Ohio aimed at employers who - according to their employees - are violating wage and hour laws.
From Dayton Daily News, Cornelius Frolik reporting:
"Wage and hour lawsuits can be very lucrative for attorneys, and the FLSA is a highly technical, outdated statute that many employers find difficult to apply in the modern workplace, said John Stephen, a partner in Porter Wright’s Labor Employment Department in Dayton."
