Christina is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department who focuses her practice on a broad range of corporate issues, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, corporate securities and general corporate governance matters.
Christina’s experience includes reviewing public companies’ corporate filings, drafting and negotiation of transactional documents, and performing due diligence in connection with various mergers and acquisitions. Her experience also includes negotiating and drafting various contracts, including commercial leases, distributed antenna system (DAS) and small cell technologies agreements, license agreements, and various other business agreements. Finally, Christina also has experience in corporate governance issues, including drafting board resolutions, preparing board evaluations, and assisting in providing advice on special investigations by boards of directors or committees. In connection with the deployment of small cell wireless technology, she prepares, analyzes, and negotiates attachment and use agreements on behalf of wireless telecommunications carriers to obtain access to the facilities of municipalities and utility providers throughout the country.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina served as corporate counsel at DSW Inc., where she provided counsel on a wide range of corporate and commercial leasing issues. During her time at DSW, Christina prepared numerous corporate governance documents and corporate filings, including the company’s annual proxy statement, and assisted the company during its acquisition of a leading e-commerce retailer. She also assisted in drafting and negotiating various lease amendments and provided counsel on various leasing issues.
While in law school, Christina served as a judicial extern for the Chief Judge R. Guy Cole, Jr., in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and for Judge Alegenon L. Marbley in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
