An associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and admitted to practice only in Maine, Casey focuses his practice in banking & finance and real estate. His areas of concentration include construction, permanent real estate financing and complex construction lending transactions involving multiple sources of financing.
Prior to joining Porter Wright, Casey clerked for Justices Wayne Douglas and John O’Neil, Jr. of the Maine Superior Court. Before taking the Maine bar exam, Casey completed a post-graduate judicial internship with Judge Tim McCormack of the Court of Appeals of Ohio, Eighth Appellate District.
While in law school, Casey served as an extern with the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel and John Carroll University’s Office of Legal Affairs. He was also a member of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Team and President of Case Western’s International Law Society.
