Overview

Bill is a senior associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group where he concentrates his practice in patent preparation, prosecution and opinion work for the medical and pharmaceutical industries. He has worked extensively with clients on biological, chemical, mechanical and electrical innovations spanning a range of technical fields.  From medical devices and treatments, to pharmaceutical formulations, to food sciences and more, Bill’s extensive technical and legal background provides a unique perspective for effective client counseling.

Prior to entering private practice, Bill worked in-house as IP counsel with a large medical device corporation. He has technology transfer experience and has served as general counsel extern for the Translational Genomics Research Institute and a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Ruth Hilliard at the Maricopa County Superior Court.
