Porter Wright is proud to welcome Ahmad Huda to its Columbus office as a senior associate in the Litigation Department. Ahmad comes from the Dallas, Texas office of Jones Day, where he focused his practice on complex commercial litigation.

Ahmad has defended large and mid-sized companies in a variety of high-stakes disputes, including matters arising out of alleged breaches of purchase-and-sale agreements, license agreements, and employment agreements. His experience also includes representing clients in matters involving antitrust merger violations, product liability, insurance recovery, intellectual property, and business torts.

“Ahmad has extensive experience in all phases of business and product liability litigation, and has been a key member in a number of trial teams in cases of significance,” said Jim Curphey, Chair of Porter Wright’s Litigation Department. “We are thrilled to have him join our team.”

Prior to working at Jones Day, Ahmad was a law clerk to the Honorable Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Detroit, Michigan. Ahmad earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from New York University.
