Porter Wright has expanded its Cleveland office and its banking and finance practice with the addition of Jennifer L. Strazzella
. Strazella, the current chair of the Ohio State Bar Association Banking, Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Committee, joins Porter Wright as Of Counsel in its Corporate Department. Strazzella concentrates in the areas of banking and finance, as well as bankruptcy, workout and creditors' rights.
Strazzella has participated in the closing of more than $4 billion in commercial and public financings. Her experience includes the development and documentation of complex single and multiple bank commercial loan transactions, including asset-backed, structured finance, and DIP financings, as well as commercial law, creditors' rights and out-of-court restructurings and workouts. She also practices in public finance, and has experience serving as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, company counsel and bank counsel for tax-exempt and taxable financings for private and non-profit entities.

Strazzella is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She frequently lectures at Article 9 seminars and has presented to the National Business Institute, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Bradley J. Schaeffer Real Property Institute, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio Bankers Association/Ohio League of Financial Institutions.
Strazzella has been named an Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellow, Class of 2012. She received her law degree from University of Toledo College of Law, magna cum laude, and a bachelor's degree from University of Montana-Missoula.
