Porter Wright’s summer program introduces second- and first-year law students to our practice areas, our people and our communities. Law students have the opportunity to work with lawyers in a variety of practice areas so that they can experience our firm’s different practices. We include depositions, client meetings, trials and closings as much as possible so that law students can get a realistic look at the practice. Pro bono matters and our annual summer associate community project expose our summer associates to our firm’s long tradition of service to the profession and to the community. Social events throughout the summer allow summer clerks to become better acquainted with each other, our professionals and our cities.
