Previously a member of the banking industry, Mr. Rathburn uses his experience as a former treasury management officer and financial analyst to help financial institutions and other corporate clients achieve their business goals and meet their legal obligations. Mr. Rathburn’s finance experience extends to the representation of both commercial lenders and corporate borrowers in senior and subordinated financing transactions, forbearance and workout situations, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Rathburn also provides regulatory guidance to national, regional and community banks, thrifts, credit unions, and other financial services organizations. As an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, Mr. Rathburn provides practical advice to a broad spectrum of business clients ranging from general corporate law matters to compliance guidance in connection with private placements of debt and equity securities.
