EmployerLawReport Blog:  Ms. LaPlante practices in all areas of labor and employment law. She has assisted employers in a variety of litigation matters, including breach of contract, whistleblower claims, and public policy violations as well as claims under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, and other state and federal laws and regulations. Ms. LaPlante also represents employers in charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. Additionally, she frequently provides advice on OSHA, COBRA compliance, and affirmative action issues. Ms. LaPlante is a regular contributor to the firm’s Labor and Employment Law blog, Employer Law Report.
During law school, Ms. LaPlante served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
