EmployerLawReport Blog:  Mr. Stalter is an associate in Porter Wright’s Labor & Employment Law department. He has defended employers of various sizes against claims related to sex, age, race and disability discrimination, retaliation, breach of employment contract, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, and claims under the Employee Retirement Income and Security Act (ERISA). Mr. Stalter also provides employers with advice concerning issues arising under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Title VII, state and federal wage and hour laws, Ohio’s anti-discrimination statutes, and Ohio's workers’ compensation laws. As a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, Mr. Stalter frequently represents employers in administrative and court proceedings throughout Ohio. In addition, he has represented unionized employers in connection with unfair labor practice charges and other issues. Mr. Stalter is also a regular contributor to the firm’s Labor & Employment Law blog Employer Law Report.
