 Mr. Monica has considerable litigation experience in defending national and international products liability claims for Fortune 500 companies. He is a nationally recognized authority on nanotechnology environmental, health, and safety; insurance; consumer product; product liability issues. Mr. Monica wrote the full length legal treatise Nanotechnology Law, which was published by West/Thomson/Reuters in July 2009. As a member of American National Standards Institute and American Society for Testing and Materials, Mr. Monica participates in the development of voluntary international nomenclature and EHS standard for the nanotechnology industry. Additionally, he has successfully represented numerous clients in a variety of general commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Mr. Monica was named as one of the top ten experts in environmental, health and safety issues related to engineered nanoscale materials by Nanotechnology Law & Business peer-reviewed journal in April 2009.
