Jack Pigman is a partner in the firm’s Columbus Office. He specializes in business reorganizations and creditor-debtor rights law, representing debtors, creditor committees, and financial institutions and syndicates in business workouts, loan restructurings and Chapter 11 cases. His business reorganization practice includes non-judicial workouts, the purchase and sale of businesses, receiverships and foreclosures. His Chapter 11 practice includes counseling and advice in connection with the structuring of transactions, purchase of assets and businesses out of bankruptcy, and representation in significant Chapter 11 cases in Ohio and elsewhere, including The Antioch Company, The Horizon PCS, Ormet, Cardinal Industries, Federated Stores, Elder-Beerman, Phar-Mor, Cooker Restaurants, Quaker Coal, and ESM Government Security cases. Mr. Pigman serves as a mediator in commercial disputes and is a frequent speaker on various insolvency, bankruptcy and lender liability topics.
