“Buzz” Trafford and Bob Tannous comment on managing partner transition

Attorneys Robert “Buzz” Trafford and Robert Tannous were quoted in a Business First story announcing that Tannous will become Porter Wright’s managing partner in January 2015. Trafford, who has served as managing partner for nearly 18 years, said the time was right to make a change. “You don’t get to be around (as long as Porter Wright) if you don’t take succession seriously,” he said.  Tannous said he plans to devote special attention to working with the firm’s younger lawyers. “It’s an opportunity to see if we can develop the next generation of leaders,” he said.
